Of course, everyone knows David Boreanaz's main claim to fame, his role as Angel on the popular show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer". He got his job after many auditions and slowly but surely his character became an essential part of the theme of Buffy as well as the main love interest. Even though he has been on the show since the beginning, he became a main character in the second season. Now David & Angel have skyrocketed into popularity & fame, so much that a spin-off show, "Angel" featuring Angel and David as the main actor. This show will interact some with Buffy and it is said to have a more adult theme then "Buffy". Either way, I'm sure David will do great in whatever he does.

Angel is 242 year old vampire. He was vampire-ised by Darla near a pub in Ireland. After that, he killed his family, there friends, there friends kids, basically he was a big bloodsucking poophead and he enjoyed every minute of it. His nickname was Angleus meaning then one with the angelic face. Then, he horrified Europe for many years and then he made a mistake. He fed off a beautiful but stupid girl who was a favorite in her tribe of gypies in the Romanian Woods. Then they gave him true punishment, they restored his soul so he would feel for & remember everyone he had killed.

After that Angel came to America, where he was homeless & very poor in New York until he met Whistler, a demon here to level the score between good & evil, taught Angel to be useful again so he could help the slayer. The minute Angel saw Buffy he fell in love. He was always there to help her whenever Buffy and friends were in a jam. He would disapear and appear in thin air, always seemed to be watching Buffy from the shadows & always seemed to show up at the exact time they needed him. Eventually Buffy & Angel feel in love and even though tried to break it off, they eventually got together.

Just as their love came to its high point, something happened. When Buffy & Angel had to hide, they hid in Angel's apartment. That night they made love for the first. This gave Angel one moment of true happiness which lifted his soul turning him evil again.

He moved in with Spike & Dru and he began to mentally torment Buffy by slowly killing people she & her friends loved. He hurt her & played with her emotions. He killed Ms. Calender because she found the curse to restore his soul. Until then, Buffy couldn't bring herself to kill him but when he killed Ms. C, she knew she had to.

Then Willow & Buffy found the curse. Angel also found Acathla a demon which if he takes one breath will suck the whole world into hell. Angel tried to awaken Acathla but it didn't work. Angel challenged Buffy to a fight. When Buffy was fighting Willow tried the curse to restore Angel's soul. In the library, where Willow, Cordie, Giles, Xander, & Kendra were, a bunch of vampires came and jumped everyone. They pushed a bookcase on Willow, broke Xander's arm, knocked Giles out & took him, and Dru killed Kendra. Angel had set Buffy up.

Angel tied Giles to a chair & tortured him because he wanted to & he wanted to know how to awake Acathla. Finally he found out how to when Dru tricked Giles into thinking she was Jenny. Buffy was accused of killing Kendra and she and Spike teamed up to kill Angel. Xander got Giles & Willow did the restoration curse. As Angel was doing his ritual, Buffy came to fight him. Then Spike beat the living crap out of Angel and then Dru beat up Spike but he choked her & drove away. Angel pulled the sword out of Acathla and he had Buffy and big sword fight. Just as she was about the kill him, his soul was returned him. He was nice again and he loved Buffy and they kissed and cried. Then as they embraced, Buffy relized she had plunge the sword into Angel & Acathla to save to the world. They kissed and she plunged the sword in his stomach and he was sucked into hell. Then Buffy left Sunnydale.

When she returned, she contiued to dream of him and and when she finally said good bye to him by putting down the ring she had given him and left, he appeared there. For a while, he was a savage beast from being in hell but at the last moment, he finds his old self inside of all the torment and pain to save Buffy. Then he is tormented by the ghost of his victims and some evil thing, and he tries to commit suicide but Buffy and the little help of something from beyond keeps him doing it and Buffy and him find a relationship again.
